Eye War Memorial
In 1920 the Eye Patriotic Association published:
‘The Souvenir Book of Eye, Being Some Records of The Great War, 1914 - 1919, from the parish of Eye, in the Soke of Peterborough, and in the county of Northampton.’ The book was compiled by the Rev. Lawrence P. Field, M.A., vicar of Eye, and Hon. Sec. Of the Eye Patriotic Association.

The book contained, among other information, a list of the men from Eye who were killed in the Great War. This information was gathered from various sources but mainly from the bereaved families. The details they provided are reproduced below after having been checked and corrected by me as far as is possible.
